介绍/评论：Season3:2001–2002Cast:RobLowe,StockardChanning,DuléHill,AllisonJanney,JanelMoloney,RichardSchiff,JohnSpencer,BradleyWhitfordandMartinSheenThethirdseason,whichcoverstheadministration’sthirdandfourthyearsinoffice,startsoffwithBartletannouncinghisintentiontorunforreelectionandisheavilydevotedtotheupcomingpresidentialelection.OtherprominentplotlinesincludeCongressionalinvestigationsintowhetherBartletcommittedelectoralfraudbyconcealinghisMS,adeaththreatagainstC.J.andtheensuingrelationshipshedevelopswithaSecretServiceagentassignedtoher,theQumaridefenseministerAbdulShareefplottingterroristattacksagainsttheUS,andatroublingmeetingbetweenTobyandthePresidentthatleavesBartletwithaboutofinsomniain"NightFive."Theseasonfinale,"PosseComitatus"closesseveralofthesestorylinesasBartletmeetshisopponentintheelectionsandreaffirmshiscommitmenttobeathim.TheepisodeendswiththepresidentfinallydecidingtoorderShareef’sassassination(alegallyquestionableact)andC.J.’sagent’smurder,justafterthemanthreateningC.J.wascaught.Fromacriticalperspective,seriescreatorAaronSorkinacknowledgedinOctober2002thattheterrorism-relatedplotsdesignedtokeeptheseriesrelevantafterthereal-life9/11attackswereawkwardattimes,saying"fromweektoweek,youfeltlikeyouwerewritingtheshowhandcuffed,alittlebit.Ididn’tknowhowtowriteitanymore.ItwasaconstantsearchforwhatIwasn’tdoingthatusedtomaketheshowwork.[...]Maybetherewasawaytomakeitwork;thereprobablywas.Iwasn’tabletofinditintwenty-twoepisodes."[1]Nonetheless,theshowwentontowinitsthird"OutstandingDrama"Emmyinarow又见到了意年夜利式的幽默，还挺喜欢。真正在事件改编，很多细节也没多讲，归正就觉得很神偶，很多工作要是放正在我们那儿都是十分弗成思议的，毕竟可以分分钟灭失落。另中就是一堆老头和年青人自由的对峙，是个成绩。
